9 Weeks of editing drills that will TRANSFER to real writing!

Most editing drills require students to edit a single sentence- making it easier to clearly see where a capital letter and end mark go. When we ask them to edit their writing, those skills don’t always transfer. Why? One reason could be a lack of practice with editing multiple sentences and sentences that wrap around to the next line of text. These drills will allow students a daily dose of editing that will allow them to practice listening for phrasing and adding appropriate punctuation.

Students will edit for:

-proper capitalization

-spacing

-sight words spelling

-punctuation marks

There are 45 sentence slides, one per day for 9 weeks. This is a great way to warm up your writers before jumping into your writing block!
