Here is a freebie that might help you survive the month of December. Simply ask your students to come up with a holiday-related word for every letter of the alphabet. They write the word, illustrate it, and use it in a sentence. I have given my students the whole book copied and ready to go and I have also had them do a few letters every day. If you are short on time, you could pass out on letter per student and make a class book! Just a few ideas!
